Tough Kookie is a third person beat ‘em up where you set up scenes and act out fight scenes in 70’s blaxploitation movies.
Created by students at Rubika Supinfogame, in Tough Kookie you take on the role of an ass-kicking actor/director/stuntwoman who aspires to be the biggest action movie superstar of the 70’s. It’s easy to kick ass, but you need to look good doing it, by setting up scenes, placing cameras in the correct locations and using a variety of badass fighting skills.
Taking around 20 minutes to play through, it’s a fun game with a fabulously funky 70’s blaxploitation movie style, flowing combat and high quality audio and visual design. Infusing a beat ‘em up with some movie making simulation is a great concept that adds a little more strategy into the proceedings and makes for a very unique setting. A fab funky film-making brawler that really packs a punch.
