Tower Guy is a very silly, surreal and funny little game about the plight of growing up as a half-man, half-tower hybrid.
Created for the gm48 game jam, Tower Guy follows the story of a young guy who was the progeny of a human woman and a tall stone tower. Quite how the two managed to get it on (thankfully) isn’t explored, but after being cast away for being a half-breed by his parents, Tower Guy now lives a fairly lonely and unhappy life – that is until one fateful night on Halloween 1991…
The gameplay in Tower Guy is fairly simple, with you wandering around your town, chatting to the inhabitants and stomping on objects that are smaller than you. As the story progresses there are some fun little twists that (literally) shake things up a bit and you may even find someone to be friends with along the way.
Taking just a few minutes to play through, Tower Guy is a delightfully silly little game with a thoroughly ridiculous premise, an adorable protagonist and an oddly sweet story. Easily the best half-man, half-tower game you’ll play all day!
