Trappist Landing – Student Project Game

Trappist Landing is a non-combative first person adventure in which you take on the role of an exobiologist who is the first person to document life on a beautiful, but deadly alien world.

In Trappist Landing you step into the space boots of Sara Mungnez, an exobiologist who is on an expedition to explore an alien world in the Trappist Solar System. After a rough landing you set out to document your findings by scanning and interacting with organic lifeforms and relaying your findings back to your crew mate who is waiting back in the ship. At first it’s mainly just plant-life that you discover but as you progress you uncover an entire alien ecosystem, some of which are a little less than friendly…

Taking around 20 minutes to complete, Trappist Landing really impresses with its high quality visual design, interesting narrative and excellent voice work. It’s the alien ecosystem that’s the star of the show though – the whole place really does feel like it’s real, living place where each life-form, whether large or small, has a purpose. It’s a fascinating place to explore, full of bizarre alien wonders and dangerous beauty. Highly recommended.
