Tribes of Midgard is a co-op multiplayer Viking survival game where you hunt and craft useful items to help defend your village from huge Ice Giants during Ragnarök.
Previously featured on Alpha Beta Gamer during the Alpha sign up, Tribes of Midgard sees up to ten players combining forces as they attempt to fend off Ice Giants in procedurally generated worlds. During the day you set out into the world, hunting and gathering resources that can be used to craft legendary weapons. Then during the night you attempt to defend your village from the legions of Helheim as they attack in the darkness.
It’s an impressive game that offers a nice blend of action, survival and coop gameplay as you fight against the increasingly challenging forced of Helheim and towering Ice Giants. We received word of this Beta a little late so this is the final day it’s available, but it’s live until midnight tonight (Eastern Time), so there’s still plenty of time to get in some giant slaying fun!
