TumbleWeed is a beautiful and poetic little game where you control the wind to blow a tumbleweed through a Sci-Fi desert landscape.
Created for Ludum Dare 46, in TumbleWeed sees you using the mouse to control the direction of gusts of wind, which in turn allow you to blow a tumbleweed through a dangerous Sci-Fi desert environment. The desert is filled with traps and machines hell-bent on destroying the tumbleweed. Quite what they’ve got against your humble little tumbleweed is a mystery, but it’s up to you to keep it safe.
Taking around 5-10 minutes to play through, it’s a fun little game with a unique control style that allows for a surprising amount of precision once you get the hang of it. Considering the limited time available during the jam, the visuals are fantastic and the fact that the wind can affect other objects in the environment is a nice touch.
