Tunic is a charming Zelda-esque action adventure where a cute little fox fights his way through a beautiful isometric world filled with ancient monsters.
There’s very little information about the actual narrative of Tunic, but the demo build takes around 20 minutes to play through and follows a cute little fox as he awakens on a beach and fights his way through a mysterious land that’s filled with ancient ruins. Gameplay feels fondly reminiscent of Link to the Past, with you able to collect weapons and equipment that give you access to new areas, fight in real-time, discover secrets and smash lots of pots.
It’s a very promising game that hearkens back to the SNES era of action RPGs and has some truly stunning isometric environments. Its world is full of secrets and if this little glimpse is anything to go by, it’s going to be a delight to unravel them all.
