Turbo Golf Racing blends golf with Rocket League-esque vehicular mayhem as players race to knock their balls into the holes on huge futuristic golf courses.
Currently in development by Hugecalf Studios (creators of When Ski Lifts Go Wrong) Turbo Golf Racing is a fantastic looking twist on the Rocket League formula that switches out football for golf. In the game each of the eight players has their own oversized golf ball which they attempt to whack into the hole as quickly as possible. The terrain will have a big effect on your success, with you able to use boost pads and bend your shots as you try to keep your ball on the fairway (and out of the rough or sand).
You’ll be able to customize your car and your ball with lots of different aestheic touches. You’ll also be able to unlock and equip different Super Cores, which will give you different abilities, such as being able to fly further, use ground stomps or drive faster.
Rocket League’s huge success spawned lots of different twists on futuristic vehicular football, but it’s amazing that no-one really experimented with other sports. Turbo Golf Racing’s vehicular golfing is a breath of fresh air and it looks like a hell of a lot of fun. Sign up for the Beta to tee-off early!
