Tynk! and the Final Phonorecord is a lighthearted puzzle action adventure that follows the story of a talented musician’s journey to mainstream success.
In Tynk! and the Final Phonorecord you follow the story of Tynk, a cat-like creature and talented musician who is struggling to find any recognition. She’s just recorded a brand new album and is keen to get as many people to hear it as possible. However, the road to fame and fortune isn’t an easy one – she’ll have to solve puzzles and help some of the many quirky characters she meets along the way.
The current Tynk! demo build features a sizable chunk of gameplay and follows Tynk as she takes her new album over to her manager, Churla. You can freely roam around the game’s vibrant open world, and there are lots of quirky characters to meet and chat too. You may need to aid/interact with some characters in a certain way to progress – such as finding some car keys or luring a wasp towards a cosplay knight.
It’s a lot of fun spending time in Tynk! and the Final Phonorecord’s joyous world. The characters are all a lot of fun, the puzzles are very inventive (often with multiple solutions) and your quest for musical success is a nice change from saving the world or battling demons. The game is packed full of great little details that make Tynk’s adventure really come alive – even down to the dialogue box design or Tynk’s tendency to add hashtags to everything. It makes for an extremely enjoyable adventure that’s guaranteed to brighten up your day.
