Untitled Horror Game is an as yet untitled Resident Evil inspired 2D survival horror game where a young woman finds herself trapped in an apartment that’s infested with grotesque monsters.
Untitled Horror Game is still very early in development (so early that it doesn’t even have a title yet), and is pretty much just a rough prototype at the moment, but it shows a lot of promise. In the game you take control of a young woman who goes downstairs to confront her neighbor about the noise he’s making, only to find that the city is currently under siege by a variety of freaky monsters. Time to grab a gun and get the hell out of there!
The current build of Untitled Horror Game takes around 5-10 minutes to play through and has a pretty abrupt ending, but it really impresses with its distinctive pixel art animation style, grotesque monster designs and tense gameplay. There’s a nice amount of tension as you explore the apartment block and there are some fun little touches – such as using cats as save points. Very early in development but definitely worth paying attention to.
