Uri: The Sprout of Lotus Creek is a beautiful puzzle adventure game in development for iOS and Android devices that actually uses the game’s UI to solve puzzles – such as allowing you to use your health bar as a platform or turn the mute button into a spring.
As well as looking absolutely stunning, Uri: The Sprout of Lotus Creek offers some wonderfully inventive puzzles thanks to the clever way you interact with its user interface. In the game you help guide Uri as she sets foot outside her palace grounds for the first time. All of the game’s UI can be used to help her progress through the levels, from the pause button to the restart button – often with different uses in each new screen. So for instance the ‘close’ button can become a teleportation device, the pause button can activate large robots and the humble health bar can become a valuable platform.
