Beta sign ups are now live for Valfaris: Mecha Therion – a bombastic side-scrolling shoot-em up set in the Valfaris universe.
Previously featured on Alpha Beta Gamer back in February, Valfaris: Mecha Therion is an R-Type style side-scrolling 2.5D shoot ‘em up that takes place after the events of Valfaris. You control Therion as he hops into a flying mech suit and uses an assortment of badass weaponry to blast and slice through swarms of alien monsters and giant bosses. You can upgrade your guns to devastating effect, but you can’t just spam them – you’ll need to recharge them by slaying enemies with melee attacks.
The previous demo was a whole lot of fun and the full game looks set to deliver lots of side-scrolling heavy metal carnage. Sign up for the Beta to join in the metal ‘em up action!
