WarpBall is a super fast paced, futuristic football game in which players can teleport around the pitch in an instant – imagine Speedball, but with every player being Nightcrawler and your halfway there!
Inspired by the likes of Speedball 2 and Monday Night Combat, players compete in online ranked or casual matches and local multiplayer for up to four players. Set in a TRON-esque neon-filled world, teams of 2v2 or 1v1 face off against each other in short 3 minute matches, with players scoring points by either kicking the ball into the opponents goal or by bouncing it off pinball-style bumpers. Players can warp short distances across the map at the touch of a button (but only if you don’t have the ball), while players that have the ball can warp the ball to another player (as long as they’re behind them) so passing and positioning is the key to scoring goals.
