Weaving Tides is a beautiful and chilled out adventure set in a fantasy land where you ride on a carpet dragon and weave your way through the picturesque woven landscape.
Previously featured on Alpha Beta Gamer during the Alpha sign up, Weaving Tides is a charming adventure where you ride a carpet dragon through a world of magic and textile. The majority of the world is made up of a thin weave, which you can dive under and emerge from, causing the tail of your carpet dragon to weave into it. Your weaving abilities can be used in a variety of different ways, helping you to solve puzzles, repair the woven world and defeat enemies by sewing them into the fabric.
The current build of Weaving Tides features an Adventure mode which sees you setting out on an adventure where you solve puzzles, fight enemies and uncover the mysteries of the woven world. It also features a Playground mode which gives you a large canvas to weave through to create your own woven masterpieces.
The writing could do with a little work, but other than that Weaving Tides is a delightful and original adventure well worth checking out. It’s a joy exploring the world and discovering its secrets and there’s something very satisfying about the way you weave your way through the world. Highly recommended.
