Wick is a Little Nightmares-esque puzzle platforming horror adventure where you control a little candle as it makes its way through a vast cathedral, continually melting as you go.
In Wick you’ll take control of Jean Wick, a small and agile candle who is on a mission to bring light and hope back to a cathedral that’s shrouded in darkness and despair. Your little candle’s quest won’t be easy though – the cathedral is full of nasty insects and a terrifying demonic nun that are keen to extinguish your light.
Being a candle has some advantages and disadvantages. Your small size makes it easy to hide and your flame helps to eliminate the way, but it also attracts the attention of nearby enemies. You can extinguish your flame to help avoid detection, but it will also make it hard for you to see. Also, when your flame is lit you’ll continuously lose mass and need to top it up with replacement wax before you melt away to nothing!
It’s a great looking game with a delightful little waxy protagonist and an oppressively large and shadowy setting. Your little flickering flame really seems to be the only thing keeping the darkness at bay as you sneak through the creepy cathedral.
