Zeal is a great looking new PvP focused fantasy action RPG that promises strategic and skill-based MMORPG combat with none of the grind.
Zeal is primarily aimed at PvP play with players doing battle in arenas, but it also has PvE elements, with a co-operative and single player campaign mode and a PvEvP conquest mode. There’s no messing around with grinding, generic quests or unnecessary narrative – you just choose your character then jump straight into the action.
Battles in Zeal feature a fast paced blend of melee, magic and ranged combat, with you able to use a variety of abilities, all of which have MMORPG style cooldowns. It promises to be a deep combat experience that requires strategy, teamwork and skill to succeed. There are 15 character classes at present, but no character has a predefined role – abilities, appearance and stats can all be altered to tailor them to your playstyle.
It’s still early in development, but Zeal already looks fantastic and it’s nice to see an action RPG that focuses on the action instead of all the grindy filler. Testing starts on July 23rd so sign up now to prove your worth in the arena!
